The series is inspired by the rich agricultural history of the central coast and the many generations of immigrant families that have made that history possible.
A still life series styled in the honor of the Dutch masters. My intention is to highlight the products provided by the labor of farmworkers. The style of this series is purposely more classical and formal than that of Pillars. This series is meant to be a commentary on the importance and emphasis society places upon the products of labor, while often showing little regard for the marginalized people we rely on to supply these goods.

The aim of this series is to explore the complex beauty of local places that are of personal significance to me. In simplest terms, this is my nature series, where I seek to create an air of surrealism by amplifying color, contrast and perspective.
